A square mound built into the outer embankment north-east of the rear circle of the Nakatsuhime mausoleum. Fujiidera City gives about 40m on a side for the surviving mound and reconstructs an original side of 63m from nearby investigations. Another city account gives 50m on a side, but its measurement extent has not been established. The mound stands 7m high and has two tiers. Its axis is thought to follow a radial line from the center of the mausoleum's rear circle. From its placement and orientation, it is thought to have been closely related to the larger mound. The surrounding moat is preserved underground. It is assigned to the early Middle Kofun period. Part of the National Historic Site Furuichi Kofun Group, it is a constituent monument of the Mozu-Furuichi Kofun Group World Heritage Site, inscribed in 2019.
Cylindrical and figural haniwa have been recovered from the mound. A moat rings it, preserved underground. Details of the burial facility remain unconfirmed.
The official World Heritage site gives a 1-minute walk from Kintetsu Hajinosato Station (Minami-Osaka Line).
