Archaeological view
A round mound, given as about 20m across and 3m high by Inami Town and as 14m across and 2.5m high by the Wakayama Prefectural Board of Education, built in the late 6th century, with an open horizontal stone chamber — the only one still standing of the Sakiyama group, which once numbered 21 mounds per the Wakayama Prefectural Board of Education (a dozen or so per Inami Town), and Inami Town's largest and best-preserved late kofun.
