A group in Utano, Uda, made up of one square-fronted, square-backed mound and square mounds, among others. Uda City calls it a valuable site for tracing the emergence of kofun and their later development in the eastern uplands at the time kofun first appeared in the Nara Basin.

Archaeological view
An Early Kofun-period group of one square-fronted, square-backed mound (Mound 1) and four square mounds. Nara Prefecture describes Mound 1 as square-fronted and square-backed, adding that a recent view treats it as a Makimuku-type keyhole mound. The 1980 excavation recovered bronze mirrors, magatama, tubular and small beads, iron swords, iron spear-planes (yariganna) and Haji ware from split-log wooden coffins and other contexts.
